Send in two squads with jump packs to distract then hit them on the fringes as they are focusing on the diversion. Maybe your limit is hard until you two learn to communicate and adopt war tatics such as feints etc. Whilst 2v2 sounds like you should have an easy time as you beat AI on Hard every time you ramp it up they get more adept as well. Exactly what you, as a very good player, should be doing. The AI has no idea whatsoever, it has a similar fog of war to your own but it is adept, the same as an experienced player, on hard so will use scouts or just one unit, as soon as you appear on the radar it will scoot off away then probe again elsewhere so it can find you approximate location. Just wondering.Īlso, don't you know about replays of 2v2 battles against computer, or 2v2 tactics in general? I alone can beat insane, but when I play with my friend (about the same skill I'd say), we can easily take down hard, but, suddenly, have a VERY hard time destroying harder I'd like to ask you though, since you seem to know something about it - does it know your exact location? I mean, I've never seen computer scounting and, since I usually play on 1v1 maps, I don't really give a damn, but on big maps it always seems to find you.
Still applies the fact about the patch, though :D One player included his battle recording and the proof was there to be seen that he was not up to the standard to beat the AI, making basic mistakes and relying on his SM commander to wade in and deliver a bombardment whilst not much else was engaged.įenixp: Dunno, I've red it on some Czech DoW forums from players who looked pretty experienced. Nice excuse though but proven many, many times to be a fallacy. The build times, resource gathering and research are all the same as yours. You can beat it but you have just got to be a good player. The AI is timed to give comands at teh same speed of a competant player and it does have the flaw of if it is engaed in battle the squad will not disengage if a larger threat comes along elsewhere, unless the Command building is under attack. Now there is the best excuse recycled from an old DoW forum ! It doesn't cheat, you're just shit, I think was the reponse But it's still possible to beat it, just requires some training - I'd reccomend you playing a few skirmish battles against harder and harder opponents, it's still fun and you'll learn to play true Dawn of War (even on normal campaign, your units have more HP and maybe even damage than in MP or Skirmish)
But it's still possible to beat it (not to mention there's a non-chating computer patch lying somewhere around the internets - but it's even harder to beat it then, cause it improves AI :D ). Fenixp: Yep, AI cheats like hell, more resource income, I think even faster build times.
